               LEARNING OBJECTIVE- To have a knowledge about Holi as a festival.



               DISCUSSION-
                   •  Holi  is  also    known  as  the  festival  of  colours  which  is  celebrated  in

                       spring season.
                   •  It  is  also  known  as  Vasanth  Utsav  and  Dol  jatra  in  many  places  of

                       India.
                   •  We celebrate it for two days.
                   •  Holi reminds us of the victory of good over evil.

                   •  Various kinds of sweets are prepared to mark the occasion of Holi.
                   •  Children love playing with colours using gulal(dried natural colours) and

                       water sprinklers.
                   •  Holi is celebrated for keeping good relationships with one another and
                       spread joy and happiness.

                   •  We should play with organic colours derived from plants.
