                       ceremonies, and placed as a decorative item around the house, especially
                       near the front door as a welcome sign. Sorudaya japi: Used by women in
                       Bihu dance.

                     Harvesting  festival-  Rongali  Bihu  is  an  Assamese  harvest  festival  which
                       traditionally celebrates the change of seasons.
