               SUB-TOPIC-Leaves





               LEARNING OBJECTIVE- To know different size, shape, colour and texture of
               leaves and its benefits.



               DISCUSSION-


                   ●  Leaf is the kitchen of the plant. It prepares food using water, air, sunlight

                       and chlorophyll.
                   ●  They are mostly green in colour and are of different sizes and shapes.
                   ●  Banana leaves are large and wide in size, mint leaves are small in size,

                       coconut has long feather like leaves.
                   ●  We eat some leaves raw like basil, coriander etc.

                   ●  We eat some leaves by cooking them also like moringa (drumstick tree
                       leaves), curry leaves, mint leaves, spinach etc.
                   ●  Leaves of neem and tulsi are used to kill bacteria.

                   ●  Activity- Making of trees with leaf
                       printing.
