SUB-TOPIC- Amphibians
LEARNING OBJECTIVE- To know and say about amphibians and its
characteristics.
DISCUSSION-
Animals that live both in water and on land and are called amphibians like
frogs, salamanders, newt and toads.
Amphibians are vertebrates(have a backbone)
They have moist skin and breathe not only through lungs but also through
their skin.
Amphibians live in wet areas like rainforests, ponds etc
Amphibians are cold blooded animals. They can cool off and warm up as per
their surroundings.
Facts on Amphibians-
The largest amphibian is the Chinese Giant
Salamander.
The smallest is the frog.
A group of frogs is called an army.
