LEARNING OBJECTIVE- To know and say about amphibians and its
characteristics.

DISCUSSION-

 Animals that live both in water and on land and are called amphibians like

frogs, salamanders, newt and toads.
 Amphibians are vertebrates(have a backbone)
 They have moist skin and breathe not only through lungs but also through

their skin.
 Amphibians live in wet areas like rainforests, ponds etc

 Amphibians are cold blooded animals. They can cool off and warm up as per
their surroundings.
 Facts on Amphibians-

 The largest amphibian is the Chinese Giant
Salamander.

 The smallest is the frog.
 A group of frogs is called an army.
