               TOPIC- Food we eat

               SUB TOPIC-I can cook


               LEARNING OBJECTIVE - Help the students to feel a sense of

               accomplishment, independence and how to stay safe in the kitchen.

               DISCUSSION-

                     Tell the student to wear their chef hat and pretend like a chef.
                     Inform them that they are going to make sandwiches, show them

                       how to make it by washing and peeling the ingredients.

                     Demonstrate the activity first.

                     Encourage them that they are good chef as they are making

                       healthy food.
                     Provide picture bookUNIT-15 to the student, have a discussion on

                       it. (Briefly discuss about the process of seed germination-from a

                       seed to a plant; about healthy and junk food; dairy farm; milkman

                       who is milking; a dairy shop where all the dairy products like milk,

                       milk powder, cheese, butter, curd etc).


               REVISION QUESTIONS (ORAL)-
                      Ask the students about the ingredients that they have used while

                        making healthy sandwiches.

                      What else can you put in your sandwich apart from the above
                        ingredients?
