               SUB TOPIC-Number 6


               LEARNING OBJECTIVE-Students will recognise and count number 6.

               DISCUSSION-
                   •  Number 5 to be introduced by showing pictures and objects.

                   •  Students are asked to finger count upto 6.
                   •  They are asked to make a water melon cut-out.
                   •  They are instructed to stick six black bindies (referred as water melon
                       seeds) on the water melon with the help of the glue.

                   •  Teacher asks the students to count the number of seeds of water melon
                       demonstrating the knowledge of number six.

                   •  Referred to the picture given.
                   •  Students complete the activity successfully under the guidance of the

                       teacher demonstrating the knowledge about number six.

               REVISION QUESTIONS (ORAL)- Ask the students questions like-

                   •  Are you able to finger count upto number 6?

                   •  How many bindis did you put on the watermelon slice?
