                 TOPIC-Letters and sounds

                 SUB TOPIC- Ss-Qq


                 LEARNING OBJECTIVE- Students will be familiar with the letters,
                 formation and the sound with proper action.


                 DISCUSSION-



                           •  Show the students the flash card of few letters and

                               recapitulate the sounds with action.

                           •  Tell them that they are going to play a game “Erase the

                               sound”.
                           •  Teacher draws few objects on a chart paper/ pastes

                               pictures of objects on a board to create a scenery.

                           •  One by one the teacher deletes one picture at a time. The

                               students have to say the first sound and action of the

                               deleted picture and sing the phonic rhyme. Let them guess
                               the letter.

                           •  Encourage the students to say different words with the

                               beginning sound deleted.

                 REVISION QUESTIONS (ORAL)-


                 1.Do you remember the action of ‘v’? Can you name few objects with
                 the sound?


                 2.What is your sweater made up of?

                 3.Ask each student to trace the letters on the drawing copy with

                 proper formation. (free hand).
