Kingdom 2 : Protista
Following are its basic features:
• Eukaryotic, Unicellular.
• Can be autotrophic or heterotrophic.
• May have cilia, flagella or pseudopodia for locomotion.
Paramecium-cilia
Amoeba-pseudopodia
Euglena-flagella
• Examples: plants like- Unicellular algae, Diatoms; animals like- protozoans
(Amoeba, Paramecium, Euglena)
