Examined the social, economic and educational status of the Muslim community in
India, it examined that the condition of the Muslim community is like that of the
Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes.
Muslim customs and practices are also different some Muslims may wear a
‘burqa’, sport a long beard, wear a fez and so may be discriminated against.
This has lead to their migration from places where they lived leading to their
ghettoisation. This prejudice sometimes leads to hatred and violence.

having access to rights, development and other opportunities.
