ELECTRODES AND ITS TYPES:


              Electrode is a solid electrical conductor through which an electric current enters and
               leaves, i.e., conducts electricity, like a battery or an electrolytic cell.

              Electrode connected to the positive terminal of the battery gets positively charged, and is

               called as Anode.
              Electrode connected to the negative terminal of the battery gets negatively charged, and is

               called as Cathode.
