ELECTRODES AND ITS TYPES:
Electrode is a solid electrical conductor through which an electric current enters and
leaves, i.e., conducts electricity, like a battery or an electrolytic cell.
Electrode connected to the positive terminal of the battery gets positively charged, and is
called as Anode.
Electrode connected to the negative terminal of the battery gets negatively charged, and is
called as Cathode.
