The example below shows terms and factors of an expression

























               Like and Unlike Terms:

                     Like terms are terms that have the same variables and powers. The

                       coefficients do not need to match.

                     Ex: 8xy  and −5xy  are like terms because they have the same variables and
                       power.

                     Unlike terms are terms that have not the same variables or powers.

                     Ex: 3abc and 3xyz are unlike terms because they have different variables.

               Types of Algebraic expression based on their terms: Based on the

               terms algebraic expression divided into four types such as Monomial, Binomial,
               Trinomials and Polynomials as described below.
