MEDIA AND Media :
TECHNOLOGY  It refers to all means of communication; everything
ranging from a phone call to the evening news on TV can
be called media.
 TV, Radio, and newspapers are forms of media.
 Since they reach millions of people across the world they
are called mass media.
 The technology that mass media uses keeps changing.
 Newspapers, TV, and radio can reach millions of people
because they use certain technologies.
Print Media: -
 Means of communication in the form of printed
publications.
 It is a medium that disseminates printed matter.
 The print media responsible for gathering and publishing
news in the form of Newspapers and Magazines.
Electronic Media: –
 Electronic media are media that use electronics or
electromechanical audience to access the content.
 The medium that requires electricity or digital encoding of
information.
 It basically refers to means of mass communication that
electronic.
 They may include TV, Radio, Internet, Fax, CD-ROMs,
DVD etc.

Television images travel huge distances through satellites and
cables which allows us to view news and entertainment channels
from other parts of the world.
 Changing technology, or machines, and making
technology more modern.
 It helps media to reach more people.
 It also improves the quality of sound and the images that
