dehairing.

Angora rabbit:
Soft white fibre obtained from Angora rabbit by combing out after removal of stiff, long guard hair
is called as Angora wool.
Angora wool is used to make sweaters.
Yak:
Yaks are found Tibet & Ladakh.
Two types of hair are obtained from Yak from which wool is collected. The colour usually ranges
from brown to black.
1. Outer hair is long and coarse in nature.
2. The undercoat hair is soft and silky.
Camel:
Two types of hair are obtained from camel from which wool is collected
1. Outer hair is about 15 inches long and coarse in nature.
2. The undercoat hair is soft and fine.
Note: Camel wool is considered as a healthy natural product and having excellent thermal
insulation property.
