The fore limbs-arms














               •  Humerus is one long bone in the upper arm.
               •  Radius and ulna are two bones in the lower arm.
               •  The humerus is attached to the vertebral column by collar bone and the shoulder
                  blade.

           The hind limbs- legs
















               •  The femur is the thigh bone which is the longest bone in our body.
               •  Tibia and fibula are two bones in the lower leg.
               •  The pelvis or hip bone that supports the legs and is attached to the lower end of the
                  backbone.
               •  The wrists, fingers, ankles, and feet have a large number of small bones.

               WONDER BOX

               •  The stirrup is the smallest bone in the human body. Its length is 2-3 mm.
               •  It is one of the three bones present in the middle ear.
