Example-3: The price of a dozen oranges is ₹96.What is the cost of 10 oranges?

               Solution-    1dozen= 12

                                Cost of 12 oranges=₹96

                            Cost of 1 orange =₹96 ÷12=  ₹8

                           Cost of 10 oranges= ₹8 x10=₹80

                          Hence, cost of 10 oranges is ₹80.

               Example-4: The annual rent of a house is ₹58500.What is its rent for 15 months?

               Solution- The annual rent of a house =₹58500

                                     Annual= 12 months

                                    Rent per month= ₹58500 ÷ 12= ₹4875

                                    Rent for 15 months= ₹4875x 15=₹73,125.

               Hence, rent for 15 months is ₹73,125.
