Sub-topic-6:-MULTIPLICATION OF MONEYAND WORD PROBLEMS-

To multiply given amounts of money ,We will follow the following steps

Step-1: Write the given amount of money in figures without decimal point.

Step-2: Multiply the amount by the given whole number as we multiply numbers.

Step-3: In the product ,put the decimal point after the second digit from the right.

Example-1: Multiply ₹165.34 by 9.

Solution- 16534 x 9=

₹165.34 x 9 = ₹1488.06

Example-2: Multiply ₹15.85 by 8.

Solution- 1585 x 8=
