Atlanta, Georgia to New York by plane. Their
flight leaves at 11:25 a.m. and should take 2
hours and 15 minutes. What time will their plane
arrive in New York?
Answer: Time at which flight leaves = 11:25 a.m.
Time taken by flight = 2 hours 15 minutes
11:25 a.m. 12:00 p.m.(noon) 12:25 p.m. 1:25 p.m.
35 minutes + 25 minutes + 1 hour = 2 hours 15 minutes
Therefore, time at which flight arrives at new York is 1:25 p.m.
