 Identify the missing length:

           A and B


      Split the shape.


      Find the missing sides.                                                                      4 cm           B


      S-1= 4cm +3cm= 7cm


      S-2= 6cm - 2cm= 4cm                                                               S-1


      Find the area individually:                                                                A


      A= 7cm x 4 cm= 28 square cm


      B= 2cm x 4 cm= 8 square cm


      Add  all the area: 28 square

           cm + 8 square cm= 36 square                                                          S-2
