Note:The sum of the lengths of any two sides of a triangle
is always greater than the length of the third side
Example: Is it possible to form a triangle whose sides
are 6cm, 9cm and 13cm.
Solution: The sum of the length of the two smaller
line segments = 6cm + 9cm = 15cm.
The length of the longest line segment = 13cm.
Sum of the two smaller line segments > the length of
the longest line segment.
So, it is possible to form a triangle.
