The International Court of Justice (ICJ) is the principal judicial organ of the
UN. Its also called the World Court. Its headquarters is at Hague, in the
Netherlands.
The Court has two functions:
To settle, in accordance with international law, legal disputes
submitted by States.
To give advisory opinions on legal questions referred to it by
authorized UN organs and specialized agencies.
UNITED NATIONS TRUSTEEESHIP COUNCIL:
It established to help ensure that trust territories were administered in the
best interests of their inhabitants and of international peace and security.
