• ChiefMinister is appointed by the Governor of the state.

• The Governor is the head of the state and is appointed by the President.

JUDICIARY:

• The judiciary is an important organ of the government. It ensures justice for

the people of India.

• It implements the laws made by the parliament.

• The Supreme Court is the highest court of justice in India.

• It is headed by the Chief Justice of India, who is appointed by the President.

• At the state level there are high courts.

• There are also smaller like courts session courts and district courts.
