Printing, Braille and origin of numbers


                     Evolution of language is the gradual change in human language over time.
                     It involves the origin and divergence of languages and language families,

                      and can be considered analogous to biological evolution, although it does
                      not necessarily occur through the same mechanisms.


               PRINTING:

                     The earliest known form of printing as applied to paper was

                      woodblock printing, which appeared in China before 220 AD.
                     Later developments in printing technology include the movable type

                      invented by Bi Sheng around 1040 AD and the printing press invented by
                      Johannes Gutenberg in the 15th century.
















               Origin of Numbers:


                     Hindu-Arabic numerals, set of 10 symbols—1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 0—that
                      represent numbers in the decimal number system.
                     They originated in India in the 6th or 7th century and were introduced

                      to Europe through the writings of Middle Eastern mathematicians.
