•Reuse is using old items again before discarding them. We
can reuse old items for various purposes.
•For example, jar made of glass can be used for storing
different items, bottles can be used for storing water, old
clothes can be used for dusting, etc.

•Recycling is a process in which old items are processed to
make new useful products.
• For example, old paper can be used to make fancy paper
bags, greeting cards, writing pads, etc. Metal cans, rods
and other metal articles can also be reused to make new
metal objects. Certain types of plastic can also be recycled.
Recycling reduces the usage of raw materials and helps in
reducing waste generation.
