GREENHOUSE EFFECT

•A greenhouse is a house/cover

made of glass that can be used

to grow plants. It is used for

growing plants in cold climates.

•The sun’s rays pass through

the glass and warm the plants

and the air inside the

greenhouse. The heat trapped

inside can’t escape out and

warms the greenhouse which is

essential for the growth of the

plants. Thus, the temperature

inside the greenhouse becomes

more than the temperature

outside.
