  Machines require human energy in order to work. A machine makes our work easier

                   implies that we need less force to do the same amount of work. They save our time,
                   effort and labour.
                 Machines can be simple or complex. Simple machines are basics and have few parts
                   while complex machines use combination of two or more simple machines.

               DIFFERENT TYPES OF SIMPLE MACHINES:













































               1.  LEVER –

                 When a long plank or pole is used to lift a heavy or large load, it is called a lever.
                 A lever is a simple machine consists of a long rigid bar, which is free to turn about a fixed
                   point called a fulcrum.
                 The object to be lifted or moved is known as the load, while the force applied on the
                   lever to lift the object is known as the effort.
