5. ELECTRICAL ENERGY - Energy possessed by electricity is called electrical energy. Most of
the devices that we use in our daily life, such as fans, bulbs, tube lights, refrigerators,
televisions and music players work on electrical energy. Electrical energy generated in
power stations and supplied to our homes through wires.

6. WIND ENERGY – Energy possessed by moving air or wind is called wind energy. It is an
abundant and well –distributed form of energy that does not cause pollution.
For example, wind energy is used for drying clothes, for moving or rotating wind mills in
windmill farms which helps in generating electricity.
