2.  LIGHT ENERGY – Light is a form of energy. It enables us to see things around us.


                   For example:

                    Sun is a natural source of light.




                    A lighted candle, glowing bulb and tube light are artificial sources of light.


















               3.  HEAT ENERGY – It is also a form of energy. A heated substance possesses heat energy.

                   For example, burning of wood, paper and coal produces heat energy along with light.
                   Heat energy is used to move steam engines. The sun is also a source of heat energy.
