The poet is able to hear music not only in a rose, a rainbow, bird and a
woman but also in the darkest and the meanest things. The poet has
repeated the words ‘not only’ to emphasise that music is not limited to
only these few things; it is present in all things around us. We should have
the insight to feel it.
The poet feels that the music is not only limited to beautiful twinkling
stars or blooming flowers but extends to every possible corner of the
Earth. He feels the music is present beyond the soft song of a bird or a
beautiful smiling rainbow. He can find hope and positivity through
music which exists even in the dullest and the most uncertain situation.
