NOTES/SUMMARY:

Once upon a time an artist placed one of his sculpture in a manner that it was
reflected in the mirror kept in the room.The house cat of the artist was overwhelmed to see
his master’s intelligent art work.The cat who was admired by all his friends, shared about
the amazing picture and its reflection with them. All his friends were astonished to know
about such amazing thing.Their curiosity increased and they insisted to experience such a
wonderful thing on their own. The Donkey got the first chance and then followed by the
bear.But, to their disappointment they could only see their own reflection and thought that
another animal is present inside the mirror, the hole in the wall.Both of them blamed each
other and the cat for telling the lie.None of them could realize that they stood between the
mirror and the picture.They were followed by the cow, the tiger, the leopard, the lion and
the camel. But all repeated the same mistake and thus failed to see the reflection in the
mirror. The elephant was furious with this and went to examine on his own.To his great
disappointment he also failed to see the picture. He was agitated and furious with his failure
and blamed the cat for misleading everyone.

Moral: Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. Since a piece of art or literature is
perceived differently by different people, it’s interpretation may vary.
