Example-1: A girl buys a pencil costs ₹6.40, an eraser for ₹8.65 and an ink pen for
₹57.75. What is the total amount she has to pay to the shopkeeper?
Solution: Cost of an ink pen= ₹57.75
Cost of an eraser =₹ 8.65
Cost of a pencil= ₹ 6.40

+ ₹06 . 40

₹ 72 . 80
Hence, She has to pay ₹72.80 in total.
