Example 2: What is the value of x in given problem?

x hours 80 minutes = 4 hours 140 minutes

In order to get the answer we need to do the following steps:

Step 1: In both the sides of the problem, we have the values of minutes.

Step 2: The value of minutes in Left Hand Side (LHS) of the problem is

smaller than that in Right Hand Side (RHS).

80 minutes < 140 minutes
