               Conservation of forest
                     Due to modernization, industrialization, urbanization the forests are being

                       cut to fulfill the human needs.
                     To protect the Himalayan forests Sundarlal Bahuguna had started the

                       Chipko Movement in Uttarakhand in 1974.
                     For reforestation, every year Vanmahostav is celebrated in different parts

                       of the country. On this day people plant trees.
