CAUSES OF LAND POLLUTION










      • Chemicals- Farmers use chemicals to improve the growth of the plants and to kill insects and

          unwanted plants. When these chemicals mix with soil they lower the quality of soil.





      • Farm Waste- Farm wastes such as plant parts also pollute soil.





      • Household Waste- Throwing household wastes such as cans, bottles and plastic bags pollute the

          land.





      • Animal Waste- These wastes make the land dirty.
