CAUSES OF AIR POLLUTION

• Burning of fuel- Fuels such as coal and

petroleum are burnt in factories which release

harmful gases to the environment.

• Vehicle emission gases- Vehicles on road

release lot of harmful gases.

• Smoke coming from the chimneys of the

factories- The smoke that comes out of

factories contain large amount of carbon dioxide

that pollutes the air.

• Sand storm and dust storm- In certain places

sand storms and dust storms pollute the air by

adding sand and dust particles into the air.
