SEDIMENTATION: The process by which an insoluble impurity such as sand is
separated from water by letting it settle, is called sedimentation.
DECANTATION: The process by which the clear water collected by the process
of sedimentation, is poured into another container is called decantation.
CHLORINATION: There are certain germs that cause water borne diseases.
These germs are killed by the process of chlorination in which chlorine gas or
tablet is added to water sources.
