• Moon is the only natural satellite of earth.
• It does not have its own light and heat.
• It reflects the light of the sun.
• The surface of moon has many holes known as
craters.
• It lacks an atmosphere and the temperature on
the moon reaches extremes.
- At night it drops below -173 degree C.
- During the day it can rise up to 100 degree C.
