ENERGY:

 Energy is defined as the ability of a body to do work.

 To do any work we need energy which we receive from the

nutrients present in food.

 Objects need energy to perform tasks . A bulb needs energy to

give light. Machines get energy from coal ,petroleum and

electricity.

 Objects receive energy from various resources like renewable and

non- renewable resources.

 Renewable Resources:

sun, wind, water, geothermal, biogas

 Non- Renewable Resources:

coal ,petroleum, natural gas
