▪ Work is said to be done when the

force applied on an object makes the

object move.

▪ Pushing or pulling a book is easy, but

pushing or pulling a table is difficult.

▪ You do more work in moving the table

than in moving the book.

▪ Examples of work: opening a window,

opening the lid of a jar, kicking a ball
