21.2- FEATURES OF INSECTS

Learning objective:-Student will learn about features of insects

Note-

 The insect body is divided into three main parts.

1) head

2) thorax

3) abdomen

 Insects have pair of antennae on top of their heads which helps them to feel.
 They have three pair of legs. They use their leg for walking, but sometimes an
insect may have a pair of legs that are specially designed for jumping.

 They have a pair of wings which helps them to fly.

Learning outcome- students can now tell about features of insects.
