19.3 WAYS TO CELEBRATE FESTIVALS

Learning Objective- The students will learn the specialty of different
festivals, what they teach us and how we celebrate them.

Note-

 By this time we all know that India is known as the “Country of festivals” as

big number of festivals re celebrated here.

 As amazingly as the number of festivals the ways to celebrate is also amazing

and different based on places and stories behind these festivals.

 In our country every festival is celebrated in a different way. And also same

festival is celebrated differently in different places.

 On festivals people do following things to make it special in many ways. Like

1. People wear new clothes.

2. They make special dishes which includes a sweet dish also.

3. They go to worship places to offer prayers to Almighty.

4. They meet their relatives and friends by calling them to their homes.

5. They decorate their homes and clean the surroundings.

6. They share the food and exchange gifts with each other.

 For example

A) Special sweet dishes are made in different festivals.

1) In Holi a sweet dish named as ‘Gujhia’ is made.

2)InEid a sweet dish named as ‘sewayian’ is made.
