4. WE NEED EACH OTHER

Note:

Learning Objective- The students will know the need of giving as well as
getting help from others.

 We all know we need so many people to help us because we can’t do

everything. And these people also need help from us as well as from others

to finish their work.

 So, we can say we need each other and we should help each other.

Therefore when we help someone and someone also helps us we become

interdependent on each other.

 Interdependent means we depend on others to help us and also others

depend on us for getting help.

 For example, when a carpenter wants to eat in a restaurant, a chef prepares

food for the carpenter. In this way, a chef is helping a carpenter.

 Same way when a chef needs or wants to repair a furniture, she or he goes

to the carpenter. And here the carpenter helps the chef. So, we can see both

are helping each other or we can say both are interdependent on each

other.

Learning Outcome- The students can tell the need of giving as well as getting

help from others.
