17.4 SAFETY RULES ON THE ROAD

Learning Objective - The students will learn about the traffic rules and safety on road.

Note:

 We should follow some rules while walking or driving on the road.

 Always walk on the footpath.
 Use zebra crossing to cross the road.

 Follow the traffic light rules.
 Red light says to stop.

 Yellow tells to slow down.

 Green says to go.
 While travelling in a car use seat belt. If you are on a scooter then wear a helmet for
your protection.

 Never play on the road.

 Never use mobile phone while walking or driving.
 Look for the different road signs to be more safe on the road.

Learning outcome- Students can say the importance of traffic rules ad symbols.
