3. LET’S FORM OUR OWN SHADOWS

Learning Objective- Students will learn that distance between an
object and source of light affects the size of the shadow.

Note:
 A shadow is a dark shape that is created when light falls on an opaque
body or object.

 The shadow is formed opposite of the source of light. Look at the image
below.
 The shadow of the flower vase is formed when the vase blocks the path of
light.

Learning outcome- Students can tell that distance between an object

and source of light affects the size of the shadow.
