14.1 NATURAL MATERIALS

Learning objective/Aim –The child will be able to know about materials that
we get from nature and that they are called natural resources.

 Everything is made up of materials.

 Natural material comes from plants, animals and from the

nature.

 All products are made from natural resources

 We do not make natural resources we gather it from the earth.

 For ex- Wood comes from trees to make chairs

 Stones to make roads, buildings.

 Sand to make glass, bricks.

 Clay to make pots, tile.

 Animal skin to make leather goods etc.

Learning outcome-The children will speak and write about natural

resources and their uses.
