Compare and Contrast

Learning objective : Students will be able to compare and

contrast any two given stories.

Explanation :

 Comparing two stories means finding the similarities.

 Contrasting two stories means finding the differences.

 There is a particular diagram which is used to compare

and contrast two stories.
 The diagram that we use are two ovals overlapping

each other. It is known as a venn diagram (graphic
organizer)

 On the first oval, the difference of the first story is
mentioned.

 On the second oval, the difference of the second story

is mentioned.

 The similarities are mentioned in the overlapped part.
