Setting
Learning objective : Students will be able to identify the
setting of any given story.
Explanation :
A setting is the place where the story occurs.
A setting is one of the most important elements of a
story.
A story is incomplete without a setting.
Settings can be one or more than one in a story.
A good description of the setting actually helps us to
imagine and visualize the place where the story is
taking place
The setting may also change according to the given
situation.
For example : Forest or village is the setting in the
story “The Thirsty Crow”.
Learning outcome : Students can identify the setting of
any given story.
