Describing Words

Learning objective : Students will be able to learn describing

words.

Explanation :

 Words that describe a noun are known as describing

words.

 Describing words are also known as “adjectives”.

 Describing words say something more about a person,

place, animal or thing.

 Suitable describing words should be used to describe a

noun.

For eg.twinkling star

hardworking farmer

Here, star is the naming word and twinkling is the

describing word or adjective.

Similarly, farmer is a naming word and hardworking is

the describing word.

Learning outcome : Students can learn as many describing

words as possible.
