Opposites

Learning objective : Students will be able to write

opposites of describing words.

Explanation :

 Opposites have completely different meaning

from each other.

 Opposites are not similar in any way.

 Describing words have opposites.

 We can find opposites of all describing words.

For example : good – bad

bright – dull

noisy – quiet

 Bad is completely opposite or different

in meaning to good. The same is with

other 2 examples.

 In the above set of opposites, all the words are

describing words.

Learning outcome : Students can write opposites

of describing words.
