Analogy
Learning objective : Students will be able to make an
analogical sentence.
Explanation :
An analogy compares two things which are completely
different from each other on the basis of colour or
taste or use or significance etc.
An analogy has a correspondence or partial similarity.
An analogical sentence is written in a certain manner
which makes it different from a common sentence.
For example :
1. Number is to Maths as alphabet is to English.
2. Cushion is to soft as wood is to hard.
3. Fish is to water as bird is to sky.
Learning outcome : Students can frame an analogical
sentence.
